Allergies and imbalances
Sneezing every spring or feeling bloated after certain meals can be your body's way of telling you something. True food allergies involve the immune system and can be serious, so they need proper testing with your doctor. Food sensitivities are different: they tend to be slower and subtler, showing up hours later as bloating, headaches, skin flare-ups or fatigue.
In my practice, I look at these symptoms as clues rather than random annoyances. Gut health, stress, sleep and the variety in your diet all play a part in how reactive you feel.
Try this: keep a simple food and symptom journal for two weeks. Note what you ate, how you slept and how you felt. Patterns often show up faster than you'd expect, and they make a great starting point for a conversation with your practitioner.
