Balance blood sugar with cinnamon

Cinnamon has a long history both as a spice and as a medicine. It is also a powerful “anti-inflammatory” food that aids in preventing chronic inflammation (the cause of most all dis-ease). Cinnamon also qualifies as an “anti-microbial” food and has been studied for its ability to help stop the growth of bacteria, including candida. Cinnamon can slow the rate at which the stomach empties after meals, which helps to stabilize blood sugar. Cool tip: season a high-carb food with cinnamon to help lessen its impact on your blood sugar levels!
