Balance gut health with ginger

Ginger is an excellent food that aids in the prevention and management of inflammation. Ginger contains very potent anti-inflammatory compounds that also reduce pain. Some studies have shown patients with rheumatoid arthritis reported a significant reduction in pain when consuming ginger regularly. Ginger is excellent for alleviating symptoms of gastrointestinal distress and is also an effective treatment for dizziness, nausea & vomiting. This is because ginger helps to absorb gastrointestinal hormones that may be creating a toxic or acidic effect on the body. Making a tea from ginger root warms the body, promotes perspiration and promotes benefits from “sweating” out a cold.
