Creating intention
An intention is different from a goal. A goal is something you reach; an intention is how you want to show up along the way. "I'll drink more water" is a goal. "I choose to care for my body today" is an intention, and it quietly shapes dozens of small decisions.
Intentions work best when they're short, positive and in the present tense.
Try this: before you get out of bed tomorrow, take three slow breaths and choose one word for the day, such as calm, nourished or patient. Come back to that word whenever the day gets busy.
