Daily "ME": meditation and exercise

I ask my clients to schedule a little daily "ME" time: M for meditation, E for exercise. Both are ways of caring for yourself that no one else can do for you, and they work beautifully together. Movement burns off restless energy, which makes sitting still afterward feel much easier.

ME time doesn't need to be long. Ten minutes of walking, stretching or dancing in the kitchen, followed by five minutes of quiet breathing, counts.

Try this: put a 15-minute ME appointment in your calendar for tomorrow, the way you would book a meeting, and protect it just as carefully.
