Holistic wellness

Holistic wellness means looking at the whole person, not just one symptom or one meal. In my practice, food is a big piece, but so are sleep, movement, stress, relationships, your environment and a sense of purpose. They all talk to each other. Poor sleep is linked with stronger cravings, stress can unsettle digestion, and a walk with a friend can lift your whole day.

That's good news, because it means you can start anywhere.

Try this: rate each of these areas from 1 to 10:

  • Food
  • Sleep
  • Movement
  • Stress
  • Connection

Pick the lowest number and choose one small step to nudge it up this week. Progress in one area tends to make the others easier.
