Make a grocery list

A grocery list is one of the most underrated health tools I know. Shopping with a plan saves money, cuts down on food waste and makes it less likely you'll come home with a cart full of impulse buys and nothing for dinner.

I suggest organizing it by the layout of your store:

  • produce
  • proteins
  • pantry staples
  • dairy or dairy-free
  • frozen

Before your next shop, plan three or four dinners and write down what each one needs. Check your fridge and pantry so you only buy what's missing, then keep a running list going and add items as they run out.

A new healthy bit, every day.
