Mindful eating
Mindful eating simply means paying attention while you eat: noticing the colors, smells, textures and flavors of your food, and checking in with how hungry or full you feel. When we eat in front of a screen or on the run, it's easy to miss the body's signals and finish a meal without really tasting it.
Slowing down may also support digestion, since chewing well is the first step in breaking food down.
Try this: at one meal today, put your fork down between bites, chew each mouthful well and pause halfway through to ask yourself, "How full am I right now?"
