Morning sunlight
Stepping outside soon after you wake up is one of the simplest habits there is. Light is the main cue for your circadian rhythm, the internal clock that tells you when to feel alert and, later, when to wind down. Research suggests regular morning light is linked with better sleep and steadier daytime energy.
It doesn't need to be sunny. Even on a cloudy morning, outdoor light is far brighter than indoor lighting.
Try this: tomorrow, take your tea, coffee or lemon water outside for 5 to 10 minutes, or walk around the block before you check your phone. There's no need to look at the sun itself.
