Movement
Movement doesn't have to mean a gym membership or a punishing workout. Our bodies are designed to move throughout the day, and every bit counts: walking to the mailbox, gardening, playing with the kids, dancing while you cook.
Regular movement is linked with better mood, sleep and energy, and it helps your muscles use blood sugar. The best kind is the kind you enjoy enough to keep doing.
Try this: find three small ways to move more today, such as taking the stairs, walking during a phone call or stretching before bed. Bonus: set a timer to get up and move for a few minutes every hour.
