Pumpkin seeds for prostate health

Pumpkin seeds are a rich source of minerals, protein and monounsaturated fats and are also an anti-inflammatory food. As a result, pumpkin seeds have been shown to alleviate some pain caused from arthritis and aid in protection for the prostate gland in men. Pumpkin seeds also aid in lowering cholesterol, enhance the immune response and decrease risk of certain cancers. This Halloween, save those seeds and roast them up with some sea salt and cumin!
