Sweet potatoes and yams

Packed with B6, fiber, potassium, vitamin C and natural sweetness…yams are a delicious vegetable to eat daily. Chinese herbal medicine has used this food to treat kidney function, and wild yam (or Chinese yam) has also shown to support the female endocrine system. Yams are a complex carbohydrate, super rich in fiber, which helps to slow the rate at which sugar is absorbed in the bloodstream. Also rich in manganese, (a trace mineral that helps with carbohydrate metabolism), nutrient-rich yams fill you up without any extra calories to worry about
