The power of ten minutes
Ten minutes doesn't sound like much, which is exactly why it works. When a task feels too big, like clearing out the pantry, starting an exercise routine or prepping meals for the week, it's easy to put it off. But almost anyone can find ten minutes.
Once you start, momentum often carries you further. Even if it doesn't, ten minutes a day adds up to more than an hour a week.
Try this: choose one thing you've been avoiding, set a timer for ten minutes and begin. When it goes off, you're allowed to stop. Notice how much lighter you feel either way.
